Understanding the NDIS
The National Disability Insurance Scheme is an initiative launched by the Australian Government. It provides financial support and assistance to all eligible participants with physical, motor, intellectual or sensory disabilities.
Every NDIS participant has a plan that is unique to them. The plan outlines the participant’s needs, developmental goals, and the funding they will receive from the Australian Government. The participants have complete control over choosing the support they receive, who provides them, and when.
